Ms Dee Johnston

Dee Johnston is the Assistant Principal responsible for the early childhood cluster from 3 Plus to Year 2. Her teaching experience has predominantly been in early childhood education, in both country and metropolitan schools. Dee started working at St Anthony’s School in 2008 as a Year 2 class teacher. In 2012, she was trained as a Reading Recovery Specialist Teacher and also provided junior literacy support. In 2015, Dee also trained as an EMU specialist, which is an early intervention program in Mathematics called Extending Mathematical Understanding. In 2013, Dee was appointed as Coordinator of Professional Learning and the Professional Learning Team was established to lead whole school professional learning. In 2014, Dee took on the role of Curriculum and Professional Learning Coordinator. This included coordination of whole school professional learning for staff, curriculum projects,  programs and developing focus areas. In 2015, Dee began the role of Assistant Principal in an acting capacity before commencing the Assistant Principal role substantially in 2017. In 2016, she completed her Master of Education at Notre Dame University, Fremantle.

 

Mrs Nicole Crosthwaite

Nicole Crosthwaite is currently the Acting Assistant Principal responsible for Religious Education, school events and the upper cluster from Years 3 to 6. She has taught across all year levels, has been a Special Needs Coordinator and a Physical Education teacher, in both country and metropolitan schools. Nicole started working at St Anthony’s School part time in 2012 as the 3+ Teacher and as a Support Teacher. In 2013, she taught Pre-Primary and from 2014-2018 she taught Year One. In 2016, Nicole took on the role of Curriculum Coordinator including overseeing professional learning for staff and the coordination of whole school curriculum projects and programs. Nicole is currently studying for a Master of Education at Notre Dame University.
